![]() If having a limit on how many turns your cooldowns can be reduced makes you worried for D:OS 2, you worry too much. Increasing HP doesn't have the same balance problem as lowering cooldowns. You might gain the "brain dead MOBA/MMO crowd" but you risk losing all of your old fans in the process. That sort of mindset changes the game from a real RPG into a MMO/MOBA where brains don't matter. Now? A % for status is worthless and the extra 25 damage is also worthless which means that you will dump the stats into CON (or something else), only to find that you stop gaining extra HP or something at 14 points? Putting all your points into intellegence made a powerful spell caster, sure, but made them weak, WEAK with regards to everything else. That is great, however not the reason for the choice and thus what upsets me about it. Bright side, now you can put points into other things you haven't. IMO they are just trying to balance the game better. If it came out originally with say spell cooldowns aren't affected at all by INT no one would be the wiser. This is halfway through the total amount of stones you need to use, as the final room is unlocked at 13 stones. If your points on your characters are all spread out and you dont really have any focuses, well, just try to get. While thats not exactly a solution, its a stopgap until you can respec. You can switch out spells outside of combat. This allows you to pay 1,000 gold to reset all your stat, ability, and talent points, among other options as well.
